Markie Post has been a notable American actor for a number of years. Her roles include Public Defender Christine Sullivan (NBC) and the Bail Bondswoman Terri Michals from ABC's series The Fall Guy. Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman has been known for her role in the sitcom of CBS Hearts Afire. Other than acting she has also appeared on a range of games shows. She was raised with her two brothers and sisters within Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's poetess wife Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School was where she enrolled and played football. She attended Pomona College for a short time and then graduated in Lewis & Clark College, Oregon. Post's previous marriage was to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) is Post's husband since 1982. The couple is blessed with two daughters. The first credits for Post's career include a pilot of the 1981 Barnaby Jones, Simon & Simon: Details at Eleven, which aired in season one episode 2 of The Greatest American Hero and episodes from The A-Team. In 1983 Post played a variety of characters on The Only Church in Town and Hot Styles in 1984. She also appeared on the ABC action drama The Fall Guy after appearing in the science fiction series Buck Rogers during the Twenty-First Century and as Diane Chambers the best friend of Diane Chambers in the sitcom Cheers.
