Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France was born the 9th August, 1976. Audrey Tautou is an eldest child in a family of four. Her parents encouraged her parents, dentist, and a teacher who both taught her to pursue her interest in the theatre. This contrasted her earlier ambition to pursue a career as a primateologist since she was a fan of monkeys. The actress became famous as a child actress quickly and achieved enormous achievement. In 1998, after completing her education, she was selected to be a part of Jeunes Premiers which is a French TV talent-scouting programme sponsored by Canal+. There she won the award for Best Young Actress in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. This led her to embark on a professional acting career. Tautou studied at Institut Catholique de Paris, attended church in her youth and was raised Catholic. But she is now separating herself from this background. Neben her acting, Tautou pursued modelling and was the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Additionally, she is a keen interest in photography and recently presented an exhibit of her work during the Arles Festival with the name Superficial. She focuses her photography on celebrities, fame and the media who scrutinized her following her rise to fame with Amelie. Additionally, there are a number of photographs featuring herself. Audrey Tautou became a star and was recognized internationally for her first role in Amelie Poulain in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie. Amelie has been an international box office success and recognized at many awards events around the globe. It's the biggest French language film ever on the US. The film's success led to a huge increase in production. Tautou went on to star in many films which included British dramatics, such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday of fiancailles. Also, she starred with Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
