Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 in Aviano Italy), American actress. She is known as a naive character who are engaging and relatable. Adams was born and was raised in Castle Rock Colorado, as one of the seven kids who was her smallest. Her father was in U.S. service in Italy. In the mid-1990s she began professional dancing and acting at the Boulder Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. She then moved to a regional theatre located in Minnesota which was where she got her first role in a documentary mock-up about beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). In Los Angeles, she pursued acting as a profession following her film debut, in where she played an uneasy but fun contestant. She was married to Tony Curtis was her partner from June 1950 to September 1992. They had two kids, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was discovered through actress Norma Shearer Leigh signed a agreement with MGM to start her journey as a film actor in the latter half of the 1940s.
