Felicity Jones is an British actress most popular because of her role as Jane Hawking in the critically well-reviewed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones has been in theatre, film and TV since she was 12 years old. Jones started her career as an actor by appearing in the television film The Treasure Seekers. In the following film, she appeared as Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch as well as the sequel Weirdsister college. Her debut film, Flashbacks of a Fool included her in the role of Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in numerous films. In movies like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 she earned fame for her role. The most notable was her performance on The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the very first time. The biopic is based on the biography of the physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones received a lot of praise from audiences and critics due to her impeccable portrayal of Hawking's former wife. The film was followed by Inferno which was a horror film that starred Tom Hanks. Jones received her the British Artist of year award in 2016 from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles. It was awarded for her amazing talent and contribution towards film.
