Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actress who has starred in multiple television series. VanCamp also has a great record in the field of film. Her work is a hit on Canadian and American TV. When Emily was 12, she began to become fascinated by acting after she visited her sister Katie on the set of one of her films. When she realized that acting was her interest, she started to learn how to act and attend auditions. The first commercials she auditioned for were however, she was eventually cast as a child actor on the Canadian television show, Are You Fearful of the Darkness? where she was seen in just one scene without any dialogue. In the year she turned fifteen, Emily made her biggest breakthrough after she was made an official character on the WB television series Glory Days. Emily's performances caught the attention to Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then invited her to his TV show Everwood. Also a ballet dancer and photographer, Emily was previously ranked by Teen in their list of top actors under twenty. The Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed Emily as the #51.
